Safe Return to Learn Migitation Plan
The Tolleson Elementary School District has updated the TESD Mitigation Plan to communicate the practices and strategies in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for the 2021-2022 school year. The Tolleson Elementary School District has developed the following protocols in accordance with guidance from the Arizona Department of Public Health (ADHS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and any federal, state or local orders and laws.

TESD COVID-19 Mitigation Plan
The TESD COVID-19 Mitigation Plan is informed by the recommendations from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health (MCDPH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Arizona Department of Education (ADE), as well as state and local government officials. In addition, the TESD COVID-19 Mitigation Plan has been reviewed and certified by Healthy Verify, an independent, medically based, medical team to ensure our strategies are sound in minimizing the risk of the COVID-19 virus. Given the dynamic nature of the pandemic, plans are subject to be adapted, following any updates from the above mentioned groups.

- Enhanced cleaning procedures
