Fueling Student Success Through Healthy Meals

At Tolleson Elementary School District, we believe that well-nourished students are better prepared to learn, grow, and thrive. Our Child Nutrition and Food Services Department is dedicated to providing nutritious, balanced meals that support the academic and physical success of every student.

We proudly participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and the School Breakfast Program (SBP) through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Thanks to this program, all students enrolled in our district receive breakfast and lunch at no cost—every day.

Calling All Junior Chefs

The Discovery Kitchen Cook-Off, hosted by Chartwells, offers students an exciting and hands-on opportunity to explore the culinary world. As junior chefs, students step into the kitchen to showcase their creativity, teamwork, and passion for food through friendly competition.

This unique experience encourages students to build confidence, learn essential cooking skills, and make healthy food choices in a fun and supportive environment. The cook-off highlights the importance of nutrition while celebrating the talents of our future chefs.
