At Tolleson Elementary School District, we believe every student deserves access to a high-quality education tailored to their unique needs. Our Special Education Department is committed to supporting students with disabilities by providing individualized services that promote academic success, independence, and personal growth.

How Is Eligibility Determined?

Students are eligible for SPED services following a comprehensive evaluation and agreement of the multidisciplinary evaluation team (MET) that a child meets the eligibility criteria.

Transitioning To High School

At Tolleson Elementary School District, we are committed to making this transition smooth, supported, and empowering. Our team works closely with families and our neighboring high schools to ensure that each student’s services, goals, and support systems continue without interruption. We focus on preparing students for increased independence, academic expectations, and life beyond middle school.
