Letter to the Community - September 25, 2024
Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community,
Next week our parent-teacher conferences begin, and I hope you have a meeting set with your child’s teacher to attend. Parent-teacher conferences are so important for us to work together to ensure we achieve our core belief – All Children are Capable of Success: No Exceptions!
October 3 and 4 are the official conference days; however, the meetings can be set for other dates and times next week. If you have not yet set a meeting date, please reach out to your child’s teacher to do so.
It is a top priority in our district strategic plan to “Intentionally engage parents and caregivers in all aspects of teaching and learning.” The parent-teacher conferences are a perfect example for us to achieve this top priority.
Also, fall break is the week of October 7–10, and our schools will be closed.
I hope you have a great week ahead, and I thank you in advance for making parent-teacher conferences a top priority to attend. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Dr. Lupita Hightower
