Letter to the Community - November 7, 2024
Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community,
We are so grateful for all our families and community. Although the results are “unofficial” as of this morning, I want to thank you for the overwhelming support of our overrides on the election ballot on Tuesday. Both overrides appear to have been decisively approved by our voters. Thank you! Should you have questions about those or want to follow updates on how the budgets are used, please visit our Elections page.
Thank you to our staff and teachers for the amazing work they do every day that shines and builds confidence in our schools and programs enabling our community to support our work.
As Veterans Day approaches on Monday, November 11, I want to thank each of you in our community who have served or presently serve in our military. We honor and are grateful to you for defending our freedom. Our schools will be closed on Monday in honor of Veterans on Veterans Day.
Please be sure to mark your calendars as Thanksgiving is approaching on November 28, and our schools will be closed November 25–29.
Thanks to all of you for your support!
Sincerely,
Dr. Lupita Hightower
