Letter to the Community - February 27, 2024

Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community;

As we look to March, it is a full month of important dates, including a much-deserved spring break for our students, staff, teachers, and families. Yet before the break, there are key events I want to be sure you are aware of and ask you to spread the word and help us achieve our goals.

Our parent-teacher conferences are March 7 and 8. We will have early release for students both days to schedule these meetings. Yet to accommodate everyone’s schedules, the parent-teacher conferences begin taking place on Monday the 4. If your conference is not yet scheduled, please reach out to your child’s teacher right away. These conferences are part of our Strategic Plan Priority Goal #4 which is to intentionally engage parents and caregivers in all aspects of teaching and learning. Our goal is to ensure 100% engagement for the conferences. Let’s work together to achieve this goal!

March 7 and 27, we will host Job Fairs from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. in our Governing Board Room located at 9261 West Van Buren Street. We are hiring for all types of positions for the 2024–2025 school year. Please share this information with all those you know who are looking for a rewarding position serving our students and families. Thank you!

Our schools will be closed for Spring Break March 11–15.
