Curriculum & Instruction

The Curriculum and Instruction Department develops and implements programs to help every student recognize success. We work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, and the community to ensure all students have access to the tools they need to be prepared for high school and beyond.

21st Century Grant

The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant is the only federally funded source dedicated exclusively to out-of-school-time programs. Arizona's 21st CCLC initiative builds and sustains comprehensive out-of-school-time programs that provide high-quality academic enrichment opportunities for students that meaningfully engage adult family members in helping their children succeed academically. All Tolleson ESD schools are grant recipients and have 21st CCLC programs on site. For more information, please contact your child’s school.
