Letter to the Community - December 4, 2023

Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community;

I have just one very important focus for our letter this week because it is so very important!

Strong attendance for our students is very important all year long, and at this time of year as we are approaching benchmark assessments and winter break, it is no exception. Strong school attendance leads to better readers, higher achievement overall and studies even show it increases high school graduation rates and the likelihood of entering college.

I encourage you to be sure your children don’t miss out on any opportunities to learn and engage with their classmates! As a community, we can all be positive role models for ensuring our treasures are at school! Thank you for your support as we focus on All Children are Capable of Success: no exceptions!
