Letter to the Community - January 16, 2024
Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community;
As I reflect on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday we celebrated yesterday, I do so with great pride in our students and teachers and staff who engage in many activities and projects to honor him.
I am grateful for Dr. King’s work and his legacy that inspire us to work for a more just and equitable world. Thanks to each and every one of our team and community members as you exemplify his guiding principles to ensure Every Child is Capable of Success: No Exceptions!
Kindergarten round up is just around the corner. It is such an exciting time as we look to enroll our kindergarten class of 2024–2025. It is exciting, yet hard to believe their first day of school will be July 31, 2024!
Here are the dates for Kindergarten Round Up:
- Arizona Desert Elementary School: February 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Desert Oasis Elementary School: February 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Porfirio H. Gonzales Elementary School: February 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Sheely Farms Elementary School: February 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Please inquire about our KEEP Program - Kinder Early Enrichment Program for children who turn five years of age before December 31.
