Letter to the Community - February 20, 2024
Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community;
Welcome back to school today after our long holiday weekend! I hope it was a great weekend for all!
These are busy and exciting times as we begin enrolling our new kindergarten students who will start school in July. Here is the schedule for the kindergarten enrollment events that will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. each day at our schools:
- Arizona Desert Elementary School: February 20
- Desert Oasis Elementary School: February 21
- Porfirio H. Gonzales Elementary School: February 22
- Sheely Farms Elementary School: February 26

As we move into March, we look forward to our parent-teacher conferences on March 7 and March 8. We will have early release for students both of those days to allow time for these important meetings. Thanks in advance for your engagement!
Spring break is on March 11–15, and our schools will be closed. Also looking ahead, our schools will be closed on Friday, March 29 and on Monday, April 1 for the holiday.
