Letter to the Community - May 7, 2024

Dear Tolleson ESD Families & Community,

With just 13 ½ days of school remaining in the 2023–2024 school year, we are focused to ensure effective teaching and learning takes place in our classrooms and during field trips. There are endless opportunities for teachable moments and learning, and we don’t want our students to miss out on these important opportunities. Thank you to everyone for staying focused!

We are so grateful to all the educators in our school community during the month of May. Please help us celebrate our teachers, nurses, principals, and cafeteria teams. It takes everyone in our district, as well as partnership with our families and our community, to ensure All Children are Capable of Success: no exceptions!

We are looking forward to summer camp! If you would like to enroll your child, please check in with your school.

Please be sure your children are enrolled for the 2024–2025 school year that begins on July 31, 2024. Please share with friends, family, and neighbors that our welcome center is open and ready to assist with enrollment all year round. During the summer break it is open Monday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. beginning May 27. Then, it is open Monday through Friday again beginning July 12. It will be closed for Memorial Day May 27, Juneteenth on June 19, and July 4.
